It began with Bill Pulte building a humble bungalow in southeastern Michigan more than 55 years ago. Since then, Pulte Homes has become one of the nation’s biggest homebuilders with more than 500,000 homes under our tool belt. Along the way, we’ve earned legions of loyal customers and numerous awards for quality and customer satisfaction.
A new chapter in our story opened in 2001, when we purchased Del Webb Corporation. For decades, Del Webb has been the leading builder of communities for active adults, having created the first retirement community, Sun City, in 1960.
