Prescott Mill is also a short drive away from Naperville and Aurora and you can be in the Chicago Loop within an hour.

There are many shopping destinations near Prescott Mill. Located along the Fox River, our historic downtown includes several interesting shops and friendly, popular restaurants. Oswego is also close to the Fox Valley Mall just north on Route 59 that offers all of the department and specialty shops you know and love. Downtown Naperville is nearby with a quaint shopping district that's great for browsing boutiques.

Recreation

There's a lot of year round family fun to be had near Prescott Mill. The Oswegoland Park District offers residents an abundance of recreational programs. A new aquatic center, bike trails, and hundreds of acres of parks provide Oswego area residents with clean and safe recreation. Festivals, such as the annual PrairieFest, provide seasonal entertainment for the whole family. The Oswego area boasts numerous challenging golf courses for the golf enthusiast.

Medical

Oswego is served by the Rush-Copley Medical Center, a 142-bed academic community hospital that offers a cancer center, heart institute, physical rehabilitation center, and state-of-the-art fitness facility. In addition, Provena-Mercy Center Hospital and Edward Hospital are within twenty minutes of Oswego. Dreyer Medical Clinic recently opened in Oswego to address the daily medical needs of the area residents.

Culture / Entertainment

There's quite an array of entertainment options near Oswego. If it's a night out at the movies, then Kendall 10 in Oswego is the place to see all the latest blockbusters. And follow up your movie with a dinner in downtown Naperville, which offers a variety of excellent dining and social venues. Don't forget the Oswego Public Library, which is a community magnet for learning, culture, and recreational events.

Transportation

You'll find the Metra stop in Aurora for a quick trip to downtown Chicago. Also, recently a Park and Ride opened in Oswego at Orchard road and Mills to take Oswego residents to the Aurora station.

Local schools include Churchill Elementary, Karl Plank Junior High, and Oswego East High School, which is within walking distance of Prescott Mill.
