A new 25,000 square foot Community Center is located nearby and features something for everyone from a full size gymnasium, 3 lane suspended walking/jogging track, to a dance studio, multi-purpose rooms and much more. The Lindenhurst Park District currently offers over 110 acres of park district amenities spread throughout community. A state-of-the-art health facility is also located in nearby Gurnee with many activities for your family including a whirlpool and sauna, and medically supervised health programs and personal trainers.

Six Flag Great America Amusement Park, Hurricane Harbour Outdoor Water Park, and Key Lime Cove Indoor Water Park are a short drive from Grant's Grove. Enjoy family fun on the many rides, slides and pools.

Every summer, The Village of Lindenhurst hosts the annual Lindenfest at the Lindenhurst Village Hall Grounds located on Sand Lake Road. Lindenfest is in August and features live music, clowns, Bingo, shopping, games, a parade, and crowning of the Little Miss and Miss Lindenhurst pageant contestants.  Lindenfest is a true celebration of local residents and businesses coming together to form a community. Shortly after Lindenfest is the Lake County Fair which is the perfect wrap up to a fantastic Lake County summer. Take the family out for carnival rides, games, demolition derby, motor cross racing, and the Little Miss and Miss Lake County pageant and more.
